Is Your Diet Soda is Making You Fat – Believe It.

When most people hear this their initial reaction is B.S.  How could a diet soda make you fat?

It does sound hard to believe, until you start to consider the science behind this statement. You see the stuff they put in diet soda, like aspartame and other chemicals, is foreign to the human body. There’s nothing natural about these additives, so when the they enter your body, all the body knows how to do with these foreign invaders (toxins) is to try and get rid of them.

These toxins have no nutritional value and there is nothing the body can take from them that’s digestible. So the body  has  to spend time trying to flush them out via the liver, or quarantining them by surrounding them with fat. This process also produces inflammation.
